Empowering Macassar and surrounding communities through skills development and opportunities
We provide comprehensive job readiness training including CV writing, interview coaching, and guidance on online job portals. This 2-4 week programme equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to successfully apply for jobs and secure employment opportunities. Our expert facilitators ensure each participant is job-ready by the end of the training.
Free Microsoft training helps participants gain practical skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Delivered over 4-6 weeks in our hands-on computer lab, this programme enhances digital competence and job readiness. Participants receive free access to computers and internet, ensuring everyone can develop essential digital skills regardless of their resources.
A comprehensive programme aimed at empowering community members to access employment opportunities. We provide direct connections to employers, assistance with online applications, and ongoing support throughout the job search process. Our partnerships with local businesses have resulted in over 450 successful job placements since 2022.
Beyond training, we run multiple CSI projects including the Take A Girl Child to Work initiative, yearly Christmas food hampers & stationery packs, Macassar High School matric support, Mandela Day activities, Women's Day events, and Job Seekers' Expos. These initiatives strengthen our community bonds while providing practical support.
Celebrating our community achievements and partnerships
We proudly celebrate over 300 graduates who have successfully completed our Microsoft training and Job Seekers Programmes. These graduation ceremonies recognize the hard work and dedication of participants who have transformed their lives through our training programs. Each graduation represents a step toward a brighter future for our community members.
Our impact has attracted visits from Top Management from Rheinmetall Europe, Cape Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Minister Bantu Holomisa, Councillor Peter Helfrich, and the Minister of Labour & Employment. These visits validate our approach and strengthen our partnerships, ensuring continued support for community development initiatives.
Through strategic partnerships with training institutions, local businesses, and government agencies, we've created a sustainable ecosystem for community development. Our Job Seekers' Expo brings together employers and job seekers, while stakeholder partnerships ensure our programs remain relevant and impactful for the Macassar community.
Since our establishment in November 2022, we've shifted from short-term relief to long-term impact. By equipping individuals with practical skills and career support, we empower participants from Macassar and surrounding areas to create better futures. Our vision of linking business success to community wellbeing continues to drive positive change.
